RLD Studios (formerly Full Swing Dance) was Established in 2011 by Principal Rachel Lord. Our studio is based off Marton Road in Beechwood, Middlesbrough. Rachel has been dancing for many years from the young age of 4. Since achieving her degree in dance she has continuously developed with her dance teaching knowledge with further training from industry experts. All our staff are trained to degree level or higher & have a wealth of experience teaching & performing.

At RLD studios we believe dance has a unique way of nurturing young people to not only dance, but to build their self-confidence & social skills, in a safe & encouraging environment. Every student will be offered the same opportunities, whether they come once a week or join us for classes multiple times a week. We provide opportunities to compete, perform in shows and sit examinations to help monitor their progress through the grades. We follow the UKA, Actorix & LAMDA syllabi.

We teach classes in multiple styles, led by different teachers that are highly knowledgeable in their genre. Classes we deliver are; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street, Commercial, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Acting, Singing and we have our own youth theatre group that work hard to put on a full musical production every year. We also deliver our own Tiny Dancers pre-school dance programme for parents & toddlers throughout the day.
